ThyssenKrupp Crankshaft Company Celebrates 20 Years of its Machining Operations
The celebration took place with employees in a picnic outside the Danville plant. As an endorsement of the company’s mission statement and pride for their plant, several employees wore “We are ThyssenKrupp” t-shirts.
During the event, the guests were congratulated for their dedication and performance and shared memorable moments, including the installation of the new machining line in 2007, which enhanced this facility’s manufacturing processes for machining crankshafts.
Norman Young, CEO, and Valmir Marchiori, COO, acknowledged those employees that have been there since 1992 when Danville began machining crankshafts.
ThyssenKrupp Crankshaft Company is a manufacturer of high quality forged and machined crankshafts for the North American on-highway truck and off-highway markets with production plants in Danville, Illinois and Veedersburg, Indiana.
