ThyssenKrupp Crankshaft Company announces 6 million crankshafts milestone for Ford Motor Company

In a ceremony held at the Veedersburg facility on August 27, representatives of Ford Motor Company and members of the ThyssenKrupp Crankshaft team stated that the landmark achievement was a testament to a strong and ongoing relationship between Ford and ThyssenKrupp.

ThyssenKrupp Crankshaft Company with plants in Danville,Illinois and Veedersburg, Indiana manufactures high quality forged and machined crankshafts for the North American on-highway truck and off-highway markets.

The Veedersburg plant has been manufacturing crankshafts for Ford in North America since its opening in 1995. The crankshafts are used in a variety of Ford vehicles, including the F150, Taurus, Edge and Explorer models.

It was a great honor to announce that it has achieved the milestone of producing 6 million engine crankshafts for Ford Motor Company.

The ceremony took place at the ThyssenKrupp plant in Veerdersburg with the participation of representatives from Ford Motor Company, ThyssenKrupp Forging Group and ThyssenKrupp Crankshaft Company.
