ThyssenKrupp Metalúrgica Campo Limpo
among Delphi Brazil’s Best in 2008

For the second consecutive year ThyssenKrupp Metalúrgica
Campo Limpo was recognized by SAGINAW (Delphi Steering)
for its partnership and development of new products.

The award was received by Thomas Wagner, CEO
of ThyssenKrupp Metalúrgica Campo Limpo and
José Aparício, account manager from Gábor Deák,
CEO of Delphi South America

The ceremony took place on November 25th during the
7º. Suppliers’ Convention of South America.
In the occasion Delphi awarded six partners that offered best results in processes and solutions of new materials for the divisions Thermal, Electro electronic Architecture, Steering, Powetrain, Logistics and Indirect Materials.

Edélcio Genaro, purchasing director of Delphi South America, highlighted the optimization activities of outer-race designs accomplished by ThyssenKrupp Metalúrgica Campo Limpo and consequently weight reduction, providing Delphi lower costs in the rough part and internal machining operation.

The ThyssenKrupp Metalúrgica Campo Limpo was recently nominated by SAGINAW as serial supplier for the rough outer-race of Peugeot 207 and Fiat Punto & Palio platforms.
